Dilution

Dilute 1 part Austrazole in 50 parts lukewarm water:

• 20mL Austrazole makes 1L of solution
• 100mL Austrazole makes 5L of solution

How to Apply

Austrazole can be used in two ways depending on the situation:

Option 1 — Standalone treatment (recommended):

1. Wash your dog in the diluted Austrazole solution.
2. Let it sit for 5–10 minutes — the longer the better.
3. For best results, brush the coat in the opposite direction of hair growth to maximise skin contact.
4. No rinsing needed — leave the solution on as a leave-on treatment.
5. Treat twice weekly for two weeks (4 treatments total).

Option 2 — Combined with a normal bath:

1. If your dog needs a regular wash at the same time, apply Austrazole as part of the bath.
2. Let it sit for 5–10 minutes before rinsing.
3. Rinse off as part of the normal wash.

Note for long-haired dogs: Clipping is recommended before treatment. New hair growth may temporarily appear discoloured in lightly coloured dogs, though this is rare.

Pro Tip: Treat the Environment Too

For effective, lasting results, spray down your dog's bedding, kennel, and resting areas with the diluted solution. Fungal infections can linger in the environment and reinfect your animal — treating resting areas alongside the animal is key to breaking the cycle.
